Europe - The Ultimate River Cruise
Mark and I are truly blessed to be celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary. As we look forward to celebrating our next 25 years together, we are renewing our vows and taking the much anticipated honeymoon we never had. We are so excited to share our special day with you! While the gift of your friendship and your presence at our vow renewal is all we ask, many people have asked about honoring us with gifts. Since, after 25 years of marriage, we already have every possible household item and then some, we have created a celebration gift registry for our marvelous anniversary river cruise. Your gift towards our cruise will provide us with memories that will last at least for the next 25 years...and our lifetime together.

Itinerary Budapest to Trier
Itinerary Budapest to Trier
Budpaest - Embark Ship
We will begin our amazing river cruise in Budapest. Here, we can enjoy an optional Puszta excursion before we gather onboard for a Gala Welcome Dinner.

Bratislava, Slovakia
We will explore Bratislava and its major sites through a guided afternoon tour. Our evening will be filled with an enchanting music performance.

Vienna, Austria
We will discover Vienna via a guided city tour followed by free time in the city center. We will then stroll with a walking tour from St. Stephen's Cathedral to the Naschmarkt. We can also join an optional tour to the Imperial Schonbrunn Palace and Carriage Museum.

Durnstein - Melk
We will relax as we cruise through the Wachau Valley before enjoying our walking tour of Durnstein. We will then cruise on to Melk where we will tour the magnificent Benedictine Abbey.

Linz - Passau, Germany
We will choose between an optional full-day excursion to fascinating Salzburg, or we can cruise through Upper Austria to Passau in Germany where a walking tour will lead us through this fairy-tale city founded more than 2,000 years ago.

Regensburg
When we arrive in Regensburg, a guided tour will show us the city's architectural highlights. Folklore entertainers will provide music and dance for our evening on board the ship.

Nuremberg
We'll savor a cup of coffee as we enjoy a morning of scenic cruising through the Main Danube Canal and relax during a leisurely cruise through the beautiful Altmuhl Valley. We will then decide between the medieval history of Nuremberg or join the tour centered on the modern role the city played in the 20th-century.

Nuremberg - Munich and Bamberg
We will enjoy our breakfast as we cruise through the engineering marvel known as the Main Danube Canal. We will then arrive in the town of Bamberg and appreciate a walking tour of this medieval gem.

Wurzburg
When we arrive in Wurzburg, the capital of lower Franconia, we will explore via a city tour. We'll see the major sights including the magnificent Residenz Palace. We'll have time to discover more of Wurzburg on our own, or take an optional tour to Medieval Rothenburg.

Miltenberg
We will cruise to Miltenberg where we will explore via a guided walking tour along narrow, cobble-stoned streets before traveling by motor coach to Wertheim for some free time to explore the town on our own.

Mainz - Heidelberg – Rudesheim - Koblenz
Today is our choice: either disembark for a trip to Mainz or travel by motor coach to Heidelberg where we will appreciate a walking tour. If we choose Mainz, our guided walking tour of this beautiful town includes the famous Gutenberg Museum, followed by a lunchtime cruise on the Main and Rhine Rivers to the wine village of Rudesheim. We will return to our ship to cruise the most beautiful and famous part of the Rhine River.

Cochem - Zell
We will start off the day with a guided visit of Reichsburg Castle before continuing past hillside vineyards to Zell where a wine fest awaits us. We will experience the hospitality of Zell with a visit by the Mayor and Wine Queens and enjoy a wine tasting where we will be treated to a special performance by the Black Cats.

Bernkastel - Trier
We will dock early in Bernkastel and explore this quaint little town on our included walking tour. Next, we will make our way onto Trier for a guided tour which will introduce us to the city's rich Roman past.

Trier, Disembark - Luxembourg - Paris, France
In the morning, we will bid farewell to our cruise ship and head to Luxembourg for a city tour of the Grand Duchy and some free time before our river cruise journey comes to and end!

This wonderful celebration cruise also includes two nights in Budapest. Our days will be spent visiting historic Buda Castle with splendid views of the twin cities of Buda and Pest spread over both banks of the river. We'll also explore the distinctive Fisherman's Bastion, the marvelous Royal Palace, St. Stephen's Basilica and Great Market Hall. An optional "Baths and Liberty Monument" excursion will take us to a panoramic view point above Budapest, followed by a visit to the area's famous Thermal Baths. We'll visit Puszta, where we will experience the revival of a 100-year-old tradition of Hungarian horsemanship. With your wonderful gift we can enjoy all that Budapest has to offer.

We'll enjoy Paris' famous sights during a guided tour visit Notre Dame Cathedral, pass the Louvre Museum, the commemorative Arc de Triomphe, the Opera, La Madeleine, Les Champs Elysees and much more. Our last day in the "City of Lights" is free for us enjoy on our own – perhaps we'll go to the top of the Eiffel Tower, or take a Seine River Cruise under the Pont Neuf.
