Europe - The Legendary Danube

We are so excited to enjoy our honeymoon on a river cruise on the legendary Danube, followed by three days in Prague, where Michael proposed! The gift of your presence at our wedding is all we ask, but many people have asked about what to get us. Since we already live together we already have all the household items that we need so we created this honeymoon bridal registry. Your gift towards our honeymoon cruise will provide us with memories that will last us a lifetime!

Entertainment/Activities

Itinerary Budapest to Nuremberg

Budapest, Hungary
Our cruise will start with a sightseeing tour of Budapest. This tour will take us to the historic Buda Castle where we can admire a splendid view of the twin cities of Buda and Pest. We can also opt to enjoy an optional "Baths and Liberty Monument" excursion which will take us to a panoramic view point above Budapest. Next, we will enjoy a special "Illuminations Cruise" past the river front of Budapest, a beautiful way to celebrate our last night of our cruise.

Vienna
We'll explore Vienna on a guided tour and will have time to venture into the city center in the afternoon and enjoy our free time strolling along the main shopping street, Karntnerstrasse.

Melk - Vienna
We will cruise through the narrow Strudengau and the Wachau Valley where our guided tour takes us to Melk's magnificent Benedictine Abbey before cruising through more of the romantic Wachau Valley.

Passau - Linz, Austria
After arriving in picturesque Passau, we'll explore via a city tour or we may opt for an optional excursion to Salzburg, birthplace of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.

Regensburg
We will enjoy cruising through the final stretch of the Main-Danube Canal before arriving in magnificent Regensburg. A guided tour will show us the city's architectural highlights, including the Old Town Hall and the Porta. We can also choose to join an optional excursion to beautiful Weltenburg Abbey in the Danube.

Nuremberg - Crossing the Continental Divide - Dietfurt
Our amazing river cruise will end with a guided morning tour of historic Nuremberg. We cruise through the Main Danube canal and descend through stair-step locks past the charming Bavarian town of Dietfurt. This is a beautiful way to celebrate the last day of our cruise.

Prague Three Days and Nights Exploring

This wonderful celebration cruise also includes three nights in Prague. Our exploring will reveal why Prague is considered one of Europe's most attractive cities. We'll visit the 1,000-year-old Hradcany Castle courtyard and the St. Vitus, and then cross the Charles Bridge to the Old Market Square. We'll also shop at the Christmas Markets with their tempting assortment of handicrafts, toys, wood carvings, and ornaments, mix with the locals at Wenceslas Square, or enjoy one of the charming cafes or restaurants. We'll also enjoy time to stroll through museums and galleries, wandering along the banks of the Vlatava River. Your wonderful gift will help us enjoy all that Prague has to offer!
